Anyone know what they did with the shark?

Just wondering. I don't know why they didn't keep these sharks in a museum somewhere.

I read a while ago that they found one of them in a junkyard. They asked spielberg if he wanted it, He said no. I assume the guy kept it.

That one was a model that they didn't use from the first one. ( I believe )

I remember reading somewhere that Alice Cooper had one of the models at his mansion (don't know from which movie, though?)

I believe he turned it into a guitar.

No one cared about future posterity in the 70's, they were just living for the moment, man. So sad to hear what happened to them, and the Orca.

I believe one of them, Spielberg DOES in fact, own. From the first picture. The shark from two, I heard as well, was found in a junkyard somewhere. I'm sure 3 and 4 were destroyed after filming. I don't believe there were actual completed lifesize models for those. I believe it was just 1 and 2 that accrued those. 4 had a bad full body and I'm not sure if 3 had one.

Probably dismantled it. If not, then I imagine its sitting in a warehouse somewhere.

I remember when I was a little kid they had the model for the 3rd Shark at Universal Studios in Orlando in a Junkyard Exhibit to go see.
