why do people piss on this film so much?

Not literally, of course. It's just a turn of phrase, so don't reply like adolescent morons. But come on, this film wasn't that bad. Why don't people ever talk about it?

This ain't my first tea party...

I don't know, it's really not that bad. It's typically provocative Larry Cohen stuff with good pacing and especially good acting, especially by John P. Ryan and John Marley.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

It isn't quite as good as the first movie, but it isn't a bad movie by any means. It is enjoyable and as with the first one, I rooted for the babies to survive and conquer all of the cruelty they experienced throughout the movie.

I thought it was good too. A 70s low budget scary movie is a million times better than the movies they make nowadays on millions of millions dollar budgets.

Cool.

For a movie about killer babies it was better than I expected.

I liked the first one better. With this one, the characters are so flat, especially the young couple.

One moment, she's protecting her monster baby, cuddling it, bonding with it, but in less than a minute, she's screaming, "KILL IT! KILL IT!" The husband similarly experienced crazy swings in character.

I felt like I was watching one of those improv exercises where the leader is saying, "Show me...anger! Now sadness! Now...love!" They were so erratic.

As a disabled child, I can tell you that the young couple's portrayal of erratic emotions is accurate. Parents of disabled children sometimes will have changing emotions about their child and the situation it and they are in. Much more so with this young couple who is dealing with their "unique" child.
