Body Snatched beings had act together
They were organized, focused, worked well together on teams, cared for nature. No worries, no moods, no arguments, no crime. What was the problem?
shareI think one line mentioned how a world of pod people would also be one with no emotion, no hate...but also no love.
One could argue the greatest works of art, inventions/innovations, architecture, literature and worldly accomplishments would just come to a halt and stagnate. With no extreme passion or inspiration to drive ambitious people, the general population of pod people would just go about their day as automatons not really being productive, and replacing each other with another clone. It seemed all they cared about was survival, like a fungus just growing & reproducing but not really doing much else.
Even the internet itself (no MovieChat or IMDB!) would not come into existence going by that time frame. Why develop iPhones, social media or better technology to further enhance communication and tap into our need for social connection if we were all pod people who don't have emotion, love or any interests.
