A paucity of information in the bio section, but evidently Nanette Newman has been married to the same guy (the writer, director, and producer of this picture, Bryan Forbes) for more than 50 years now. (Holy Heck-a-roo!)

Would it be due to any worries over perceived nepotism that she only received fourth billing? I think her acting rates with the others, including Mr. Hopkins whom I've always liked -- especially in this picture.

I would have expected the billing to be T.O'N. (it's her movie, after all), N.N., A.H., and then Mr. Plummer (who was excellent also).

Now my main reason for this post: Nanette Newman (in this movie, at least) has got to be the prettiest woman I've seen in any movie ever!

There you go. Who shares these sentiments?

She is indeed pretty. She's kind of type cast for me as this role only because I've seen this movie too many times. Can't say I have any opinion about the cast's billing. Then again, I could care less about who hired who and why. Doesn't matter, I only identify these actors with the characters. Of course, I fancied Anthony Hopkins. Something about his bossy "I'm the trainer, and that's why" attitude I found attractive.
