I never realized he was murdered until recently. That is very sad.

Yes, he played the guy she was seeing behind her boyfriend's (Robbie Benson) back when she was skating away from home. He was murdered a few years after Ice Castles came out.

He died in 1985 trying to catch a thief. Such a tragedy. He was a familiar face in movies in the '70s and early '80s. I recently saw him in "Blood Beach" also.

I felt really sad when I read the word "homicide" on his IMDb bio. I had to read what happened. I also enjoyed seeing his work. In case you haven't seen it, try to watch "Mt. St. Helen's" (might not be the exact title). He was really good in that, too. I'm watching 'Ice Castles' right now and had to look it up...again.

I'm sure his killer is out of prison and enjoying his freedom by now. Life sure isn't fair.

No in December 2011 he was denied parole for another 15 years. The killer was a 16 year old illegal alien from Mexico.

That's impossible. I thought illegal aliens were just here for a better life and to enrich us with their vibrant culture.

I actually went to school with his kids. His youngest was in my class and David Huffman was killed when we were in Kindergarten. It was very sad...he was so young and had two young kids.

That is horrible. Even worse to find out he left behind two small children.
