Everyone in this movie was funny & spot on as the teens caught up in the Beatlemania frenzy. The scene just before & up to, when Rosie jumps from
car to win radio contest. Her desperate look & leap are so intensly funny.
Then turning the car around to go get this crazy teen.

I kind of enjoyed Eddie Deezen, notably the ad lib of him being yelled at by Ed Sullivan to sit down, and Eddie talking into the mike: "Ok, Ed!"

Also a close second is when the cops break down his door and find them in the room, the guy calls Eddie something like 'little creep,' with Eddie retorting: "Who you calling little?"

Also when he grabs the lamp and the officers suddenly freak out: 'look out, he's got a lamp!' (it's like in '1941' during the fight in the cafe in the opening and the character Walley gets a chicken leg in his hand: "Look out, he's got a leg!')

"Thanks, guys." "So long, partner."

Yeah, the scenes with Eddie Deezen crack me up whenever I see this movie. I still crack up over the line you mention: "Watch it, he's got a lamp! And it's lit!"

Actually, the cop says "Ah, now I got you, you little sh*thead!" And that's when Deezen says "Who you calling little?"

The elevator scene was pretty funny, too. "It's only 2/8 inch plate glass. These doors are pretty flimsy, just like everything else in this fleabag!"

The exchange with Ed Sullivan was hilarious, too. "Take off that ridiculous hat."

The barber shop scene was classic. Barber with an eyepatch, with a cigarette in his mouth. Reminds me of some barber shops I went to as a kid.

I also liked the other elevator scene after Rosie is caught for the first time, where this snooty old woman is bawling her out. "Never in my life have I seen such a disgusting display of vulgarity as I've witnessed here in this hotel. Young girls screaming and running about. You should be ashamed of yourself. And as for this hotel, I was not aware that its clientele included such riff-raff. You can rest assured that in the future I shall take my business elsewhere."
