Guitar in Hotel Not a 'Goof'

It was remarked that the fact that equipment would be in their hotel room while they were at rehearsal was a "goof". Anybody that is familiar with musicians (particularly rich musicians) would know that they often carried more than one instrument while on tour.

The hotel also has Ringo's drums. During the time the movie is based, Ringo Starr only had one drum kit, a Ludwig he obtained in June 1963. This would be his only kit until Drum City gave him a free one in May 1964, months after the Ed Sullivan appearance.

The 'goof' is that Paul's bass is not strung 'upside down' for a left hander, as it should be.
And it is plausible that Ringo might not have set up his 'precious' drum kit at the studio. He might have been using stock studio equipment during rehearsals due to logistics or a myriad of other reasons (guitars are easier to transport).

rich musicians do have more than one instrument but the beatles were working class lads who loved there old work horse instruments ....the rickenbacker 325 john played on the ed sullivan show was the very same one he bought (and never fully paid for) in hamburg in 1960, and thats in the hotel room.
