For Those Of You Who Were There. . .

If you were around in February 1964, what do you remember most about the day the Fab Four first performed on "The Ed Sullivan Show"? What do you remember most about Beatlemania itself? My mom was in her early 20s by then and even though she wasn't a Beatlemaniac like Rosie, she owned, at one point, a couple of Beatles albums: "Meet the Beatles" and "The Beatles Second Album."

I was only 7 in February 1964, but I loved the Beatles. I wanted to be one (that is when I wasn't being Robin Hood). i listened to their records a lot, and I was very excited to see A Hard Day's Night when it came out later that year. and I had a Beatles haircut.

I remember how amazingly good harmonizers Fab 4 were. Also, shockingly charming, FUNNY and FRESH!

I was only 3 when The Beatles first came to the U.S. but I had an older sister and 2 older brothers and they were huge fans. I do still recall being all excited because my sister and her boyfriend were taking me to the drive-in to see Help!
