Viktor - what did he tell ...

Eva had told him? I liked what she said, but I don't remember exactly. Some ting about "Life has to be learned, and I am learning every day" ... and then something about "I don't know my self"

Anyone?

If you look closely later on Eva says that it is because of fear that we put limits (and to our imagination also, hence we believe in Gods and...), but if we let ourselves drawn into our broad mind universe, how can we expect to know things we might encounter knowing the fact that anything might come on our way?! and yes, our reactions might as well be unexpected- leading us to a 'questioning' as whether that is me, reacting this way? hence, we CAN say that we do not know ourselves, especially Eva who set no limits to her imagination of a writer she is; as a proverb says:

"Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free."

and of course we fight for freedom, for the truth that freedom allows us, everyday, like Eva!

A typical Bergman film, outstanding in approach of the subject and stunning in cinematography-- too hard to stand sometime, for it dribbles into the conscious and subconscious- in our very being, no matter where you live or what you believe!!
