Is Helena a person, at all?

i remember reading about Persona once, and i red something like "are the both women two different people at all?".

I ask this question because it seems to me that Helena is there much more to represent an aspect of Eva's personality. any opinions?

That was my impression--that Helena is a part of Eva's personality. When she crawls out of bed and calls out, neither woman seems to hear her.

Like a physical manifestation of the damage inflicted on Eva by her mother? I think it can be viewed this way.

I think she's a person but those particular scenes were symbolic rather than real. You'd have to have heard a grown woman falling out of bed.

I used to want to change the world. Now I just want to leave the room with a little dignity.
