where was the shot featured in the poster filmed?

Being from Tuscaloosa & having had some of my friends be extras in the movie, I'm aware of the part filmed in town (the destruction of Northington, including the collapsing smokestack), but the movie poster image ("Can't nobody..."), I'm drawing a blank on. Anyone know? e-mail info to "[email protected]"

Hey I know its been four years snce you asked but here is your information LOL

The poster with the bridge intact was shot on location just outside Jasper Alabama where US 78 crosses Warrior River. This bridge has a lil burger joint right on the edge of it and the river that was a hangout in the 50 and 60,s for teens. Its called The Frosty. This bridge was dismantled about four years ago and a typical flat concrete bridge replaced it.

The other poster with the jump after the bridge was "blown" in the movie is also on US 78 near Sayre. A propane truck had actually caught fire and exploded and destroyed a small bridge crossing Mulberry Fork on the east bound side and they used it for the jump. I was present to see the jump for the movie and got to meet Jan Michael Vincent, Hal Needham and the actor who plays the lil annoying short guy. I was 11 at the time. I still have a piece of fiberglass that broke off the car on the landing some 27 years later lol

I saw this movie over 18 times in the theater as a kid and now I own the DVD. To the guy that answered this question and was actually there for the filming of the jump....you are a GOD!!!!
