Brian Keith portrays Jocko in the film, Sally Fields dad. In real life, Jock Mahoney was Sally Field's step-dad. Coincidence? Anyone have any feedack or info?
Yes Jock Mahoney was a stunman before becoming an actor. The film was dedicated to stuntmen and mahoney in particular
shareMortgageman.....Jock also went by the name "Jock O'Mahoney", so I've always thought this movie was a "nod" to Sally's step-dad, too. I wish there was a way to be certain, but short of one of the folks directly involved going "on the record", I fear we'll just have to continue to wonder....
At least now I know I'm not the only one who sees the possible connection.
