Palomino club fight

Something I still don't get. Terry Bradshaw and his gang start a fight with Hooper's group and then there's a big brawl, and it looks pretty serious (Actually, Hooper throws the 1st punch). But after, when they get thrown out of the place, they laugh like they're all friends then Hooper invites everyone over to his place, including guys from the other gang. Weird.

Or was that just how it was in the late 70's...

Because back in the old days this is usually what happened. It`s know as good ole boys yucking it up.Unlike today with all the losers who think they are flunkie gangsters from the loser getto!

Have we come this far that folks don't understand this type of bonding? The guys I got into fist fights with in grade school became my best buds. It's a way of working out competitive aggression. Once you've given each other a good fight, what else is there left to fight about? Let's have a party!

I weep for this generation of special snowflakes! Like you, most of my best friends were the result of a fistfight.

The validity of my answers is highly dependent on the intelligence of the question..or lack thereof.
