Cmon'. Give me a [email protected]#in' break! The Seahawks scored 10 freakin' points. 10!. The Score wasn't 21-20 or 21-17...it was 21-10. How can you expect to win a game much less the Super Bowl scoring only 10 points? And when the game was close, who let Willie Parker run 75 yards up the middle for a back breaking touchdown? How many yards did Shaun Alexander have? Who frightened Jeremy Stevens into dropping all those crucial passes (actually one was caught and then fumbled but called incomplete)? Who was doing all that...the refs??? And if there were bad calls against the Seahawks in that game...you know what...great teams overcome bad calls pure and simple. Not only did the Steelers overcome some horrendous officiating in the AfC Divisional game against the Colts, The Super Steelers won EVERY playoff game on the road that year. The Seahawks had every opportunity to win that game. They just didn't make the plays.
Unlike Mike Holmgren (is he still weeping about this up in Seattle?) show a little class and stop whining about the refs! If you ever watch the game again, you'll see the Seahawks had their opportunities. Christ, their only touchdown was the result of a gift interception that set them up on The Steelers 20 yard line. If Rothelisberger makes that pass (instead of throwing a terrible pick) the game's a freakin' blow out! The result is still the same either way....Super Steelers:5 rings/ Sorry Ass Seahawks: Zilch
Oh Yeah, by the way, there was a little rematch this year of that game. Do you remember the score? I do. It went a little along the line of: Steelers 21 - Seahawks 0. Yeah that's right....Zilch, again.
A tad bit "off the subject" are we getting here?
