Carpenter should of never let Debra Hill write any of the dialogue

That whole walk home from school is just pure cringe from
Beginning to end. Such a shame because John wrote great dialogue for Dr Loomis.

reply

Carpenter thought she did better than he could, anyway.

Totally.

"Should have."
"Should of" does NOT exist. Please stop butchering the English language.

"Carpenter should of never let Debra Hill write any of the dialogue"

I've heard of the Queen of Sheba, the Rock of Gibraltar, and the Count of Monte Cristo, but who or what is the Should of Never?

reply

I always thought this part about "obscene chewing" was funny since I was a kid.

LAURIE
Why didn't you say anything? You
scared me to death.

ANNIE (V.O.)
I had my mouth full. Couldn't you
hear me?

LAURIE
I thought it was an obscene phone
call.

ANNIE (V.O.)
Now you hear obscene chewing.
You're losing it, Laurie.

reply

I dunno, I kind of disagree with that. From personal experience, teenage girls talk about a lot of stupid stuff. And I knew lots of girls who used the word "totally" a lot just like Laurie's friend does. It didn't seem that bad to me. Pretty realistic if I'm being honest, but maybe a little outdated.

TOTALLY!
