Halloween & Halloween II Double Feature Tonight

Just bought tickets to catch both of these flicks tonight at the Murat Theatre in Indianapolis tonight. Seen the original on the big screen before but this is the first time I'll get to see II in a theatre. Just thought I'd share in case anyone here hails from the area and may have missed this...

I wish I had more hands, so I could give those titties... FOUR THUMBS DOWN!

Awesome! Have fun!

I saw Halloween in the theater last year and it was blast!

Sounds great. I'd love to see the original on the big screen someday. 

Hope you had a blast.

Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.

Check theaters near you. It's playing all over the country this month. I'm going to showing on the 29th, though I saw it last year too.

There are literally screenings in every state in multiple cities this year.

reply

I saw it last year as well. It was awesome. Though, I'd never pay more than once to see any movie in the theater.

Movie Theater: Young Frankenstein 10/10. RIP Gene Wilder. One of the funniest people of all time.

I don't mind since I rarely go to the movies and I prefer the large picture and superior sound. I actually own a projector and have a large 8 foot screen to watch films on but it's such a pain in the ass to get it out and set it up each time because I can't mount the projector onto my ceiling with where the ceiling fan is. I set it up once in a blue moon.

reply

I see. Guess the ceiling fan was there before you got the big screen, huh?

The theater by my house is showing the original oct 29 at 9:45 pm. They showed part 4 last Saturday, but I was too tired to go

reply

Gonna see the original classic, right, Rosie?

I saw the original a few years ago in the theater and people were laughing inappropriately at it.

People were "laughing inappropriately" at this film; just more evidence of the degeneration of society. I'm surprised these pieces of human sludge managed to pull themselves away from their phones long enough to notice the movie screen..But I guess it all evens out in the end; they laugh at the movie, and WE laugh at them.

Fabio Testi is GOD

Oh there were plenty of people on their phones too...obnoxious.

I hate that. Damn punks. Ruining classic movies with their immature antics.

reply

So sad. Young punks can't appreciate good horror.
