Michael Myers will NEVER have a VS movie for 1 simple reason.

He does not need to piggy back onto any other franchise.

Myers and Halloween are too iconic. It does not rely on other maniacs to continue.

True, but I always wanted to see him fight Jason. I think that would be an interesting match up.

I think it would be pointless. The only reason people compare is because they are similar and are horror killers in a similar genre.

It's a little daft to be honest.

reply

Only way I'd want to see it, is if Michael was gonna win.

Movie Theater: Young Frankenstein 10/10. RIP Gene Wilder. One of the funniest people of all time.

reply

I know, but I just love both characters and think it would be awesome and interesting to see them interact with each other. Both franchises are pretty much dead at this point anyway so there's nothing else really going on and seeing either killer just going on a generic murder spree has gotten repetitive.

At least it's a better idea than the ridiculous Michael vs. Pinhead movie that most fans want to see happen for some reason.

Michael Myers vs Snake Plisakken. I like your idea, Horror.

I wonder if there another horror icon from a mental institution, that cross over could work...

I couldn't have said it better. I don't understand the opposition to a Jason vs. Myers movie. The battle would be epic. Jason from part 3 or 4 would be great. Maybe Halloween purists don't want to see the franchise "sullied" and cheapen the movie with Jason in it, who knows. It couldn't be any worse than the tired and clichéd plot of the killer stalking unaware counselors or townsfolk.

reply

Oh, I'd definitely go see it.

As long as Michael won.

Even though some of the sequels (and the remake) prove otherwise, I think Halloween is in its own league and above the need to crossover. And I say that as somebody with a never-ending love for Freddy and Jason. It's just that Halloween isn't that kind of a movie.

Anyone here mentions Hotel California dies before the first line clears his lips.

reply

How would they communicate to each other? They both can't speak, what would be the confrontation? - Myers pointing the middle finger to Jason as he is taking a piss in the water of Crystal Lake...

I suppose Rob Zombie's Michael Myers could grunt loudly at Jason? 

Yeah, I was just watching those again a couple weeks back, and with him grunting and everything? Terrible.

Then again, Jason could grunt back. Jason makes a lot of noise in Jason Goes to Hell.

reply

Well, all the Jason's are terrible.
