Playing in many cities across the country this month.

I was buying tickets for something else and noticed my theater had an ad that Halloween was screening on the 29th. And my town isn't that large. I saw it last year but had to travel two hours to do so. I thought "Why is it coming here?" so hopped online and saw it is playing all across the country this month in tons of cities. I think HalloweenMovies.com said like 500 locations. So for those that haven't had the chance to see it on the big screen, check your local theaters and don't miss the chance.

It's not playing at my local flea pit. Yet. The screen times are for up until tomorrow I think. Or I thought I read the 27th which would be Thursday.

I went yesterday, the first time I've been to this film in a theater. It played a few other times in years past, but I didn't get out to it. Last year when they brought out the new digital cinema version, it only played like one night at a multiplex in what was undoubtedly one of the smaller theaters. That showing was probably totally packed, which I hate. This past week a larger single-screen theater which regularly shows old horror movies presented this seven times total. It had great sound, and the theme really came through. So now I've been to all the "Halloween" films in the theater with the exception of the second and third ones (parts 4-10 in their original runs).

Cool, Max. I'd love to see II in theaters.

Me too. "Halloween II" hasn't played in my area as far as I'm aware, but "III" did last year (just DVD or Blu-ray projection, though). I wasn't able to get out to it.

My gf wouldn't want to go see III. She hated it.
