Met Jamie Lee Curtis

Met her at a Borders bookstore in Los Angeles December 2004. She was doing some Christmas shopping. I saw her and was a bit star struck. My wife and I just found out we were having a baby so were picking out some baby books as it was our first child I went over to my wife who was reading What to Expect When You Are Expecting and told her I just saw Jamie Lee Curtis. I saw her pay for her books and had them gift wrapped at checkout then she proceeded to walk toward exit. We were sitting on a bench nearby She saw us, saw the book my wife was reading stopped and said. " are you two having a baby?" As I said before we were both a little star struck as we were both Halloween fans and well......I was a young teen when Trading Places came out so there's that too

Anyway. She had a 5 minute conversation with us in regards to the pregnancy. Actually said Mazeltov about it and wished us luck and congratulations. Very very nice.

the funny thing is, we hadnt told anyone about the pregnancy yet. hadn't told family or friends because of the old wives tale of waiting 3 months. So in effect Jamie Lee Curtis was the first person to find we were having a baby. Our daughter is now 11 years old and whenever she sees Jamie Lee curtis on TV says. "theres the lady you met in the bookstore when mommy was pregnant with me" as we told her the story many times.


" Tell me mom...when your little girl's on the slab...where will it tickle you?"
