A question I need answered

Before loomis gives his speech something crashes through the window, what was that? It always confused me

reply

I think it was a piece of the gutter from the roof trim. I could be wrong though.

"He came home." - Dr. Sam Loomis from the original HalloweeN

reply

Gutter.

RIP Matt Roberts. You were great.

reply

I thought it was kids throwing rocks at the windows

reply

It's a piece of guttering, if you pause the scene you can clearly see the offending gutter.

It's all a deep end.

reply

Rocks? Lol. You don't even have to pause the movie to clearly see a gutter. Don't humor them, Bottin.

Movie Theater: Young Frankenstein 10/10. RIP Gene Wilder. One of the funniest people of all time.

Excerpt from page 39 of the HALLOWEEN screenplay (written by John Carpenter & Debra Hill):

Blown loose by the wind, the rain gutter suddenly swings down and SMASHES through the window with a THUNDERING CRASH of broken glass.

reply

There you go.

RIP Gene Wilder. One of the funniest people of all time. RIP Robert Vaughn
