'Predator' Homage - bulging biceps handshake

Does anyone know if "Predator" did an homage to the scene in this movie where the two body builders shake hands, hold it, then flex? Because Arnold and Carl Weathers did a similar scene in "Predator" to the one here. I just thought it'd be neat if this film had any influence on that one.
