No wonder this message board is empty...

Oh my goodness. I do believe this is the most awesomely bad film I have ever seen. However, it is almost so bad that it's good. It's one of those movies that is just plain fun to make fun of. My cousins and I quote lines from it at random. There's the ever-popular "I brought you your dog...HE TRIED TO BITE ME!", as well as "The Bugler is scared!"

I was just wondering if anyone else has seen this, and if so, what lines (or even scenes) they think are the silly/absurd.

I've seen it only one and long time ago, but I thought it's actually good.

yeah so did I, but I consider myself lucky because I can be entertained by practically anything. Thinking back on it (I just watched it) it really isn't all that great, but I was definitely entertained. I have to admit some of it did make me laugh out loud. Still, enjoyable to my tastes.

Hey, so I love westerns, Ben Johnson and Jack Elam were great, the heroine Lana Wood so-so, but Greyeagle(Alex Cord) fantastic. Especially the scene near the end, on his horse charging at the attacking indians on horseback. The cinematography outstanding. It brings to mind, when Richard Gere in an Officer and a Gentleman, pristine white uniform strides into the factory to rescue his girl.Same intensity of emotion.

I agree with the two other posters that said it was pretty good and entertaining and I might add, after some of the trash being produced now, it was good clean fun to watch.

I love westerns and I encourage everyone to watch the worst I've ever seen: "The Rustlers of Yokohoma Gulch" if you can find it -- yeah, a Japanese cowboy extravaganza. And a heigh yo yuck of a flick.

Nothing is more beautiful than nothing.

Ben and his Oklahoma draw are always associated with the Western. Jack is always crazy Jack. I also liked, not sure who was who, but the storekeeper. Wondered where he was from due to his accent.

Can you fly this plane?
Surely you can't be serious.
I am serious,and don't call me Shirley

Even Ben Johnson and Jack Elam couldn't save this...film. As always these two were fantastic, but Lana Wood was just plain awful, Ditto Alex Cord. Charles Pierce was the father of this abortion. If you look at his track record on IMDB, you might wonder how he ever found financing for this ...film. So do I.

I watched this one night on cable when I woke up @ 2 AM and couldn't fall back asleep. I became interested in the story and thought the scenery was beautiful. I was especially impressed with Alex Cord and his horsemanship - I've never seen anyone ride that well in a film before and you could see that it was really him, not a double. I loved his portrayal of Grayeagle and I think the character might've done well in a TV series (with good scripts). Okay, I'm also a woman and a romantic, and this was romantic! I wanted the story to continue, I didn't want it to end although they chose a good spot to end it.
