Memories of this Film

I remember seeing this when I was 13 but don't remember if I ever saw it rerun. Some of my memories from the film.

New homeowners arrive to find their promised "landscaping" consists of a row of very small potted plants on the kitchen window sill.

Dad (Charles Grodin) investing a lot of time and money into growing a perfect lawn only to see it torn up at the end because of a problem with the septic tank.

Mom (Carol Burnett) telling her young son that while it must have been hilarious to him when the police officer pulled her car over and pointed a gun at mommy he shouldn't have put a sign in the back window of the car saying "Help! I'm Being Kidnapped".
