This line had me rollin' on the floor!

Also, does the line "Poultry is just another word for chicken" have any specific meaning, or is it just a "throw away" line? Thanks...

There was a character named "Polty", he was one of the railroad managers, according to the cast list.

I assume that by shouting out "Poultry is just another word for chicken", this was to make fun of the man's name, although whoever shouted it didn't get his name quite right.
