I know what you mean, starring john saxon, also in a nightmare on elm street, a gloved killer, like freddy krueger. I noticed this as well.

There's a popular Italian horror movie called "Death Walks At Midnight" where the killer has an identical spiked glove. I'm sure Wes Craven was inspired in one way or another by both.

The killer in Girls Nite Out uses metal claws(it was shot in 1982), Dreamscape(which was released months before Elm Street) has the villain using metal claws in a dream sequence.

I collect dead pigeons then I press them between the pages of a book.
