Just an ugly flick

I saw this movie the other night and I hated it. After Bruce kicks the crap out of the LAKERS dude he yells for help going down the stair from each window. Really stupid. And Bruce looked hurt and he never looked hurt in Enter The Dragon.

Maybe he looked hurt because he got in a fight with a 7 foot monster. And just maybe, Bruce Lee is not immortal. I think he tryed to make it look like he was hurt so it would seem more realistic

The Lakers dude is Kareem Abdul-Jabber. One of the greatest centers ever.

Just because in ETD, Bruce was untouchable, doesn't mean he really was(or is in Game of Death).

Kareem was a student of Bruce Lee so I'd think he'd be able to fight. Bruce Lee had big bruise on his face...meaning he got hit. In Enter the Dragon, almost everyone had fought, sucked as a fighter. Remember in the begining of the part with the real Bruce, he fought two other fighters. The one before Kareem was able to hit him several times. And after fighting 3 actually good fighters, don't you think you'd need help?

I loved this movie. I thought the fight scenes were some of the best out there. I liked ETD a lot, but GoD was a lot better when it comes to fighting.

One thing I don't understand is when he is yelling for help while leaving the building that he was in, the person outside kept saying, "Hurry up, come on down," or something to that effect. For all those people knew, he was still getting the crap kicked out of him and COULDN'T make it down.

I know that's being nit-picky, but I pick up on little things like that in movies. Ask yourselves this, if you were waiting outside for someone and they were frantically yelling out, "HELP!" to you...would you just stand there like an idiot and demand that he comes out?

huh? i don't recall bruce lee calling for help after he defeats the tall black man.. is this a different version because the one i have bruce lee is hurt but hides behind a staircase and grabs some dude's leg from behind then goes on to fight him while the black guy is in the background, dead

Stoned Soldier, there are 2 versions of Game of Death, Bruce Lee's unfinished version, than the other is the one that came out 6 years later (using body doubles and shots concealing Lee's face). You must have see the later version, which only contains about 10-20 minutes of the real Bruce Lee, the rest is just body doubles or cardboard cut-outs that are tactically placed so you have a hard time actually seeing the actor's face.

Also, I for one like that Bruce Lee showed weakness, which makes perfect sense since his fighting style (of having no style) is highly realistic, so to his fights should be realistic. Nobody is Super Man, and even the best fighters can take abuse and feel pain. It's really a shame that the second Game of Death left out so much fight footage that Bruce Lee had.
