Is this worth watching?

Brandon Lee denounced it as junk. Chuck Norris, Muhammad Ali, and others wanted nothing to do with it. Is it any good? Or gimmicky?

Not really. Most of the film isn't actually Bruce Lee, it's two different guy shot from either behind, side, or wearing sun glasses and beards to hide the fact that it isn't actually Bruce. It's also edited with bit's of footage from his other films intercut with the new shots using the double. There's even a scene where they use a cardboard cut out of his face and footage from his funeral. The only worthy part is last of 15 mintues where they use the footage Lee while he was still alive.

It's not worth a watch really.

Just watch the footage Bruce filmed, it's all you need: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFUAMgbsUjU

I dont blame their reactions.

It was just a money-making venture. Brandon Lee was spot-on.🐭

This film, not really. The film "re-visited", definitely. 40 minutes of footage the way Lee envisaged. It's great.

The actual film itself plays out like a really dull episode of Columbo that wants to be a James Bond film but without any of the charm or intelligence.

The cast are all fine and some of the fight scenes are pretty good but it's just a really tacky cash in on Bruce's name while at the same time completely throwing out his original vision (and half his footage).

I'd say it's worth watching at least once just to see how far they actually deviated from Bruce's original theme, which was pretty *beep* far!

If it was it's own thing it'd be mediocre but it isn't and it's very disrespectful.

+ points - The Score by John Barry is good, Sammo Hung's fight choreography is solid and the cast all do what they are supposed to.

- points - Everything else. Seriously, it's pretty much a completely different film as to what Bruce intended.
