I don't know how old Hollye Holmes was when she filmed Part 1 but I thought Jenny was said to be 11 in the film. Heather Rattray (born in 1965) was about 12 when Part 2 was filmed. It's possible that Holmes was actually younger than she was supposed to be playing, which would account for the noticeable change.
