I know it's not likely but is that Dianne Wiest playing the waitress in the early scene where Goldie first sees Chevy at her friends wedding party? It looks a lot like her and she really wasn't known at the time this was made so it's possible she could have been an uncredited extra.

I guess the only problem I have with my theory is that the waitress/actress looks too old to be Dianne Wiest as she would have looked then. Still her weight has fluctuated over the years so maybe...

Check your DVDs and you'll see who I mean. She offers Goldie and several others champagne and then I think she's in the background of a couple other shots. Maybe Dianne's mother?

Or probably just a lookalike.

Four. LOL. I'm watching it as we speak - I have the DVD going and pulled up this page to check a credit. Great minds think alike I guess. Or is it bored minds think alike? I can never remember....

It does not even look like her....My husband does this all the time....She was
30 then and that actress looks late 50s....It's not her!

No it was not Wiest. She of course would have been credited [at the end], but indeed was working other projects when FP was filmed
