this film was horrible

If you like to remember the good old days of being in a drunken stupor pointlessly running at the mouth with nothing to say, this film is for you. now, if you like to see 70's New York in the background to remind yourself why it got such bad publicity, or why you're so glad that the 70's are history, this is also a long, boring, drug induced trip. some call it art, I call it a bad high school project.

I'll probably tough it out, but the dubbing clearly recorded in a room played over the two talking on the beach almost made me turn it off in disgust.

I could not agree with you more. I recorded this on TCM and just watched it last night. very thankful I could FF through most of it. I kept waiting to see if there was going to be something resembling a plot or dialogue...there wasn't.

I don't think the MST3K crew could have made it all the way through this. It's probably the worst film ever.

I loved New York in the 1970s and remember it fondly. That's not what's wrong with this pretentious piece of utter crap. Don't blame 70s New York for someone's vanity project or the terrible acting, writing and direction.
