HOW DID MALLORY,MILLER,BARNSBY, AND WEAVER ALL GET BACK TO ENGLAND,BEHIND ENEMY LINES,WITHOUT TRANSPORT,WHEELS OF ANY KIND,FOOD OR WATER,OR EVEN IF THEY HAVE SURVIVED THE REST OF THE WAR?DOES THE MOVIE SCRIPT SAY OR EXPLAIN IT OR IS THERE A BOOK VERSION OF THIS MOVIE,TO THE ORIGINAL THAT EXPLAINS THE OPEN ENDING.

I'll tell you one thing for sure. The movie did not follow the book at all. Otherwise such Open Ending would not have occured.

According to the Book. The Crew started from Trimoli in Itly and not England. At the end Mallory gets them back to Trimoly by a Wellington Bomber that lands on a platue.(I believe that's what happened. Been long time I read the book)
