Connection with Nietzsche's 'Ecce Homo'?

Hi.

I've never seen Ecce Bombo (1978) but I plan to do so.

I've enjoyed Moretti's films up to "The Son's Room".

Can anyone tell me what the connection is between the philosophical work "Ecce Homo" and Moretti's 1978 film? if there is one.

Thanks,

I don't know. I think that the "sentence" referring to an old man screaming it at Ostia's seaside shows the intention of "declaring" the man and what the man - bombo is. nothing more than vain sentences and vain pseudo-complicated thoughts. and terribly empty. it's like he says "bombo, or the man, is just what you see"
