Simas Kudirka Returned to Lithuania in 2002!

I just read over the Internet that Simas Kudirka went back to Lithuania in 2002. If this fact is true, I hope that he is happy there, but I hope that he decides to come back to our country.
I just visited Simas Kudirka and his wife Gene. They returned to Lithuania on 13th of May, 2007 and now are living in small town Pilviskiai near Vilkaviskis in Marijampole district. In that house that Simas bought some years ago his mother was living from 1994, when she returned from USA. She died in 2003.
Simas told me he always wanted return to Lithuania after it became independent in 1990. The only thing they were waiting for pension of Gene.
Simas told me he has many contacts with Alan Arkin when they were making film and he like the actor very much. The film was not what Simas Kudirka expected, but he still have some copy of it.
Well I hope he is happy and well. I would love a copy of the Movie if you know where I can obtain one. I served on the CGC Gentian which was moored next to the CGC Valiant. The XO of the Gentian was on the Valiant when Simas tried to defect. The crew was heart sick over the events that took place. That was a sad day for the United States Coast Guard.
