deniro is trying to get nickys wife to say where nicky is. I think he just kept asking her where is he where is he....where is he...tell me where is he...??? it just felt like forever! just tell him damnit!

That was the point of the scene. It feels like forever for him to tell her where Nick is. It shows the agitation of the character.
