horrible pacing

I was completely enjoying this as a classic post apocalypse B movie, but the pacing in the second half of the movie completely ruined it for me.

The Death Sport arena scene felt like the climax, and everything after it was painfully boring (until the final fight at least), especially the infinite scenes of guys driving dirt bikes across a farmers field...

So anyone else think this movie would have been far better if it ended shortly after the Death Sport?
