that all the actors, except Jon Finch, have blue eyes ?
I started noticing when I watched it recently for the umptieth time.
I thought : "That's funny ! Niven, Ustinov, Farrow and Hussey are all blue eyed and then every time another actor/actress came on screen, there again blue eyes !

So that is why they open and close the film with the bluest Nile water I've ever seen. I always thought they must have put blue dye in it. ;-)

The blue Nile water brings out the blue of their eyes, and vice versa.

Maybe they thought they were making Agatha Christie's THE MYSTERY OF THE BLUE TRAIN?
