Never saw the appeal of this franchise, even though the first one has it's strong points

Oooh noooooo

I’d give it a two if I was feeling generous. The third one was worse for wasting Sam Neil. The remake was πŸ™„

The OG is a classic and it will always be a horror go-to for me

i agree with you on the original. it's a classic.

I remember liking it in the theater, but then like 30 years later rewatched it and, not as good as I'd thought.

Sounds about right to me, it's a solid sequel to a classic. The naysayers here can fuck right off.

It's pretty good, the best scene is ****minor spoiler***

definitely when Damien reveals who he is to Mark. That is such a well played scene.

It has some good moments and a great cast. I think 7/10 is about right. Oddly enough though, Jonathan Scott-Taylor never did anything after this film. He pretty much disappeared from the film industry. I wonder what became of him? Anyhow, solid movie in my view.

He will always be.... Damien.

lol...

Yeah, that scene is quite intense. Taylor has some acting chops for sure. Too bad he left the industry. At the very least, he had a future making horror films for sure. And I just noticed that Lucas Donat (Mark Thorn) never did anything after this either.

Being in this movie must have really shocked those in the industry. haha...

At any rate, I recently met a kid that looks very much like JS Taylor. It kinda freaked me out. :)

He even had his mannerisms from this movie too, yet, this kid had never seen this movie.

6 or 7 is about right. It's a solid sequel. The original is a classic.
