The crow is a hoot!

Right from the start, the presence of the crow failed to be scary or ominous. And the way its squawk cues the terror is both pitiful and hilarious. I like how it shows up out of nowhere. The scene where it goes after the lady in red is the best. I didn't like her hairbun, either.

They should have done a scene with Damien being friendly with the crow, feeding it, naming it, etc. All done with syrupy music.
