Does it have subtitles?

reply

I have this movie on a German dubbed DVD, and I hate dubbed voices in movies, certainly in passioned Italian and French movies. Therefore I am searching the original Italian language version, with English subs.

Does any one know where to find that DVD?

Thanks in advance!

reply

I have the movie in AVI format in the original language, which was taken from the Japanse dvd, I assume. Unfortunatly there's no dvd with English subtitles. Still hope to find some subs that aren't Japanese or Spanish, as I don't even understand Italian. :(

The South Korean DVD (original release, no bootleg) has two options of Italian audio (Dolby Digital 5.1 / 2.0) and optional English or Korean subtitles.

I just cancelled the South-Korean DVD (via Ebay), as I saw just in time that this DVD has a runtime of only 90 minutes, and the movie lasts 109 minutes. Prefer an un-cut release.

There is a German DVD release also (called 'Bleib Wie Du Bist), and this DVD has, even with 4% PAL speed-up, a runtime of 100 minutes.
The Italian DVD is un-cut (105 minutes).

PS
There are some clips on Youtube, search 'Cosi Come Sei'.

I have the German "Bleib Wie Du Bist" DVD. It says it is Region 2, but plays in my Oppo player (which plays both NTSC and PAL disks) fine. But - the audio is in German, with no subtitles of any kind. I would like to find a version that has English subtitles!

It's also letterboxed, not anamorphic widescreen, which is disappointing, too.

This is an old thread, but the US label Cult Epics is releasing this on blu ray in May, 2015.
