I'm a huge fan of "Corvette Summer" as well. It's a very sweet, cute and charming seriocomic teen coming-of-age movie. Mark Hamill and Annie Potts have wonderful chemistry together; they make for a really nice and appealing couple. I've posted a favorable comment for this underrated sleeper; I gave it a well-deserved 9 out of 10.

It may appeal if you like an authentic 70's setting. It's not nearly as vulgar as Detroit Rock City, so you might find it too tame, but I loved it! It's also got a sort-of Disco feel to it. You'll love the V8 muscle cars in the film! By the way, Mark Hamill and co-star Annie Potts are good friends in real life to this very day!

I saw this movie at the drive-in when it came out. I loved it then and I still love it. I once slept in that one gas station's restroom (The one in Veas)

This is a good movie to watch! I remember seeing this movie all of the time on TV back in the day. Now I have not seen this movie in like forever! I also remember watching it on USA UP ALL NIGHT on the USA Network and a few other networks as well!

I would see this as I mentioned on USA UP ALL NIGHT when it was shown on Friday and Saturday nights! Man I miss those days with Rhonda Shear on Friday nights and Gilbert Gottfried on a Saturday nights. WOW Rhonda was a beautiful blond!

The movie is great to watch and very enjoyable as well!

I don't think it's great but it's a still a movie I enjoy. It's a guilty pleasure and I still watch it about once a year. I always enjoy it but I don't think I would go as far as to call it 'great.'

It is a decent movie to enjoy at least because they do not make movies like this anymore today. I remember when USA Network and TBS use to show this. I even think TNT also showed it from time to time on TV back during the 80's and 90's before TV programming changed to how it is now where they show everything a million times now.

I just wrote my first film script in June called "THE POSSESSION OF INNOCENCE" and created a Facebook page as well. Check it out if you would like to know who has been casted in the film or any other information. Thank you for your time, help, and support.

Watched it for the first time this weekend on TCM. Much better than I was expecting. It's a terrific movie with a lot of energy, heart and charming innocence. I also like the use of real locations and the music. A really fun movie.

I saw this in 1978 at the drive-in in my '68 Vette convertible . I left halfway through 'cause it was so stupid!

Watched it thirty five years later and confirmed it was a good move!
