TAB vs. DNC

What is the difference between a "DNC" and a "TAB" (Therapeutic Abortion) procedure? As I remember, Greenly went in for a "DNC," but had a "TAB."

It's D&C, NOT DNC. A D&C stands for Dilatrion and Curettage. They dilate the cervix, than take a curette and go up into the comb and "scrape" it. It's often done to clean up after a TAB.
