my fav part in nightmare on elm street 3 was when a kid gets his veins ripped out and used as puppet strings. She said that it reminded her of this movie. Is there anything about human puppets/arteries in this movie, or is she confusing it with another movie.

There's an institute in this movie where comatosed patients are suspended by thick wires from the ceiling, leaving them elevated four foot off the ground.

That might be where the comparasm comes from.
