Interesting that allthough Coma was given a PG rating we do get to see quite alot of Geneviève Bujold, especially the shot of her in the hotel window, full-frontal.

Normally a film with nudity or even show of breasts would automatically get an R rating but I don't have a problem at all with Coma being PG with that in it.

Those shots of Geneviève are tasteful and in context of the story.

Back in the late 1970s, the MPAA was a lot looser. Look at films like "Invasion of the Body Snatchers", "Airplane", and "King Kong" all PG and all had scenes of topless women.

Don't forget Kramer vs. Kramer. We saw EVERYTHING about JoBeth Williams when she ran into the boy in the hallway.
