Any talks about a remake?

A remake would never be as good but curious

Wasn't "Extreme Measures" with Hugh Grant and Gene Hackman very similar to this?

One of the great things about this film is how contemporary it feels – and the suspended bodies still look futuristic. So I don't see the need for a remake before they got it right the first time.

Thank you. And to whoever posted that Jolie would be good - BITE YOUR TOUNGE! Jolie is Hollywood trash and I don't want her hanging around this - one of my absolute most FAVORITE FILMS!

They will never ever EVER make another Coma. They can't. Culturally impossible. Too much has changed for the story, the story as it was in REAL terms simply could not happen. Government, Technology, all of it prevents it.......THANK GOD.

This movie will always be a classic and highly respected. Besides, all the little children would NEVER understand!

"...Every minute passing I wanna hold you. Every minute gone is too long a time."

Yes, I guess it would be impossible for this to happen today, what with that Worldwide Interweb all the young-uns are using to blow the cover off these covert organ-harvesting operations.

This film was made at a great time for medical thrillers. They were still geared toward adults and relied as much on atmosphere as on special effects, and as a result, the movies had a lot more impact. I'd hate to see it remade with Megan Fox wearing glasses to make her look scientisty.
