is this movie as good as awake?

i haven't seen this movie--is it as good as awake?

I can only surmise you are thinking of the movie called Awakening(s)?? which is a very good movie,..but this movie involves intrigue around a hospital where
patients (with very little wrong with them) end up in a Coma. I saw it on it's 1st run 30 years ago at a 'drive-in' movie. Remember those? Ah the good old days. Still;...quite a good movie.

This is an excellent little thriller;
much better than "Awake"

reply

Nope, there was a movie called "Awake" from 2007. It dealt with being awake during surgery.

i have seen This Movie Littlebit on Cabel channel...but I havent seen It all

Coma is better.

Coma is better. But you should know both movies are tackling different situations and conflict. Coma isnt about the rare occurrence of being awake while having an operation, like AWAKE is.

COma is a medical thriller movie based off a classic, great book

Awake is a piece of *beep* and coma compared to it is a masterpiece.

There's no comparison. Awake was a mildly interesting, decent for 1 view, flick. Coma is a very well made motion picture, with repeat viewings getting better each time.

MUCH BETTER than Awake!!! The actors, movie, story....everything is excellent!!! It's a scary thought that something like this could happen!

It doesn't hold up all that well. I saw it in the movies recently at a revival and the audience spent a lot of time laughing at it...particularly the electrical execution scene. The Michael Douglas character's treatment of Bujold is not realistic based on her credentials and experience. There are times when it is a bit cheesy.
