Got the dvd yesterday:

Not a bad little movie to kill a boring afternoon. I knew I recognised the lead actress - she's the chick from That's Incredible! (Ha! Always thought of her as the picture of what American women looked like). I noticed that the camerawork is real tricky in not revealing anything on her even if she was nude in a scene or two. I think the most you can see of her is where the guy barges in when she's taking her shirt off or where she's at the beach and gets her shirt wet, but you can't see much since some of these are literally split second shots. I guess that's part of the idea of the movie - to show just enough to leave the rest to the imagination and with a broad like her, you know what's underneath has to look good

As far as the actual movie goes, it is cheezy as hell. It looks like a really long after-school special of yore (it's 1hr and 42mins! This movie could've easily been 80 minutes by cutting some of the excess crap). If you're looking for an inspirational sports movie, I can name twenty of them that are far - faaaaar - better than this one, but this movie isn't really about the sport. It exploits the idea of the older woman-younger guy relationship since about half the movie is spent on him and her going sneaking around, flirting, and getting it on. With the recent cases of English teachers "abusing" their students, this one has to be watched completely tongue-in-cheek

I found this film to be quite likable and enjoyable. Cathy Lee Crosby was a stone fox back in the 70's. It was also nice to see a very young and blonde Michael Biehn in his first lead role.

Well I have not seen this movie in like 30 years or longer than that to be honest with you. I saw this at Best Buy with 11 other movies that I loved watching back in the 80's and on USA UP ALL NIGHT! This was a part of a box collection called Too Cool For School Collection and when I saw all of the basketball players lifting Cathy Lee Crosby up and it said COACH on the front of the box set. I was like I remember seeing this movie but it has been ages since I have seen it! I think I first watched it on HBO or on cable TV back in the late 70's or early 80's. They use to show this movie on the weekends when I was a kid in the early 80's.

I was excited to watch this and cannot wait to see the rest of the box set that has JOCKS in it, My Cheuffer, HUNK, My Tutor, Tomboy, Weekend Pass, The Van, and many others!
