I felt so bad for Kenneth Williams

I am a huge fan of the "Carry on.." series and have been since i was about two, when i first saw Carry on Camping. (Yes i honestly do remember it) i am now 28 and still love the movies and ofc Kenneth! I have watched each film easily over 20 times except this one and Columbus.
Well a few nights ago i decided to force myself to watch it again.. i can honestly say i will never watch it again. You can pretty much tell the main cast are just going through the motions on this movie, more than the others. However, the main reason i can't bring myself to watch this again is Kenneth Williams. I know he hated most, if not all, of the Carry on films but this was basically soft core porn at its worst. You can tell by looking at him he's embarrassed being associated with the movie. It came across so much that at some points it even starts making the viewer uncomfortable (well for me it did anyway lol). I have read some of his diary (im still making my way through it) and i can only imagine how disgusted he felt filming it.

I felt bad for Joan Sims. That was horrible making her recount a sexual encounter in front of the other servants considering her age. She would have been in her late 40s then and completely past it as a sex symbol, especially in those days when most women looked much older than they really were.

I feel sorry for the entire cast, having to endure this pile of drivel. What a swansong! :(
