...the biggest issue that you have with the film is that they used a Grumman Lunar Lander for landing on Mars. The aerodynamics alone... [shakes head]

Agreed. Obviously the filmmakers had access to real NASA hardware so I guess they did it for budgetary reasons. Still, how expensive could it have been to cobble together their own lander?
