Was anyone else disappointed that the "bonus trailer" on the DVD was, in fact, "La Bamba"? It seems odd that there was no trailer to "The Buddy Holly Story" on the DVD.

The bonus features here were a missed opportunity overall, limited to the standard commentary and filmographies. Would have been great to see some clips of the actual Buddy Holly, for starters.

It's probably an older DVD. I've seen ones like that before.

The DVD version of The Buddy Holly Story I have has no bonus features, not even the trailer. Still, I bought it to see the movie, so I can’t complain.
