proper ending

When I discovered Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers on the Sci-Fi channel a couple years ago (I'm only 16 so I never saw them when they came out) I thought they were two of the greatest science fiction shows of the century (right up there with lost in space, star trek and flash gordon). After watching the entire series I was very crestfallen on how both shows ended. It was right when everything was getting good... the galactica picked up an Apollo 11 tv signal, Buck Rogers reunites some of the tribes of humanity... Both of these shows were excellent and deserve a proper ending. Now both were created by Glen A. Larson and share some amazing similarities in style, setting, ect. Why not end both series in one big theatrical crossover? The Galactica runs into Buck Rogers and save the earth from the cylons who have joined with the Draconians. The galactica then finds Earth and they have the technology and resources to go against the cylons plus Buck Rogers and Wilma can do what the entire series was building up to... getting married. Plus tie up all the other loose ends with the Draconians, Cylons and the like. You all have to admit, these shows deserve it and it would tie in perfectly with all the remakes comming out anyway. What do you think?
(P.S- perhaps, the special effects should remain the same as well. Don't gunk it all up with all the CGI stuff. It should be done the old fashioned way; the best way)

I love the idea, but we both know it will never happen.
